As an online shop without the traditional overheads we are able to offer dramatically reduced prices on first quality, up to date tiles. We are constantly searching for new and exciting tiles.

Who Are We

Chris and Sara Birch are the founders and managing team of this family run business. They have been working in the tile industry in the UK and Australia since 1996, in fact, Chris worked for tile manufacturers in the UK for eight years prior to this. They founded a business called Factory Tiles in East Sussex, UK which became one of the busiest tile showrooms in the south east of England. Initially importing ceramic and porcelain tiles from Italy and Spain and progressing to sandstone from India, terracotta from Mexico, limestone from Israel and travertine from Turkey. Being direct importers and selling to the public was the key to this success. Deciding to re-locate to Australia in 2011 after selling Factory Tiles to a supply business called Hampshire Tile Warehouse, they acquired Tilesmart in St Ives on Sydneys’ north shore. Their importing capabilities, contacts and knowledge combined with a very strong sales team helped them to grow this showroom into a landmark of the north shore. This business was sold to Beaumont Tiles at the end of 2015.

Tiles4Less was launched in early 2014 and has steadily grown earning strong testimonials for the quality of our products and our level of service. Once again we are combining the products of top Sydney suppliers with our own imports.
